PINKWOOD is a dynamic art space dedicated to showcasing contemporary creative practices and fostering community. Every other month, we present exhibitions by guest artists, opening the space to new voices, ideas, and ways of making.

Between exhibitions, PINKWOOD comes alive through a rotating program of events, including artist talks, poetry readings, print-and-pour evenings, and other intimate creative gatherings. These moments are designed to encourage connection, conversation, and hands-on engagement with art.

Together, our exhibitions and events create a rhythm of looking, learning, and making—welcoming visitors not just to view art, but to be part of an active and evolving creative community.

The story behind
PINKWOOD
– Olivia & Ben Reid
Ben Reid in sunglasses and pink striped shirt leans on a yellow bench with a smiley face and the text 'Be my friend' as a Olivia Reid in a pink tank top and denim shorts sits on the bench outdoors.
PINKWOOD is named after a moment in the making of art. When Ben carves his woodcut plates, the areas to be cut away are marked in pink. As he works, those sections fall as soft pink wood shavings, gathering on the studio floor and throughout our home.

These fragments became a quiet symbol of process, care, and transformation. PINKWOOD reflects that spirit — a space shaped by making, where beauty is found not only in the finished work, but in how it comes to be.

PINKWOOD artspace extends creativity outward—an intimate, flexible venue fostering collaboration across disciplines.
